It doesn’t take much effort to fully see the way that the social media (Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, etc) has transformed the business of high school recruiting. Much like the Pandora’s Box that exists with drug-testing, the overwhelming use of these outlets versus traditional media by the athletes themselves are also creating headaches for athletic departments that don’t necessarily need any more issues to deal with. This is a very informative article that highlights some of the potential pitfalls regarding this topic.
