Northeast hit the field Monday afternoon with one intention: see who likes contact. The Vikings, wearing helmets and shoulder pads, went through several contact drills in the span of 50 minutes that sparked excitement and opened the eyes of onlookers.

Rising senior CB, Anthony Crandon and sophomore LB Khyri Wright stole the show with some smashing hits and dishing out contact while others were absorbing it. First year head coach, Jeremy Freioud had nothing but great things to say about the attitude and toughness of both players. Crandon will be counted on to become the leader of that locker room and will make several plays from several different positions next season.

Wright is just a sophomore and is a Gladiator! The young Viking has a great body, runs well and is tough as nails. Other kids who will likely be very productive this season: AJ Hicks, Raquon Williams, Devin Bowers.
