He was named MVP for the wide receivers at the last E7 event in Lakeland back in April, but this son of a former NFL signal-caller is perhaps ready to explode as a constant match-up at the tight end position for Tampa Catholic this season. This rising senior has a great frame at 6-foot-4, 205-pounds and is still growing. Carlson’s made significant strides in his route-running ability and has gained firm control of his frame while in transit and at the point of attack when the ball is in the air.
