Todd Donohoe lines up his Football Staff:

Don Mesick- (Offensive Coordinator)- Successful business man who has coached roughly 20 years (Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Spoto and Middleton)

Joshua Ballinger- (Defensive Coordinator)- Coached at Wesley Chapel, Estero, etc.

Lyn Gross- (Running backs, track assistant)- Coached with Donohoe at Strawberry Crest.

Guy Kimbrough- (Linebackers)- Coached with Donohoe at Strawberry Crest.

Todd Gicker- (Wide Receivers)- Coached 15 years at Armwood and Coached with Donohoe at Strawberry Crest.

Brian Conley- (JV Head Coach)- Coached at Palm Harbor and teaches Social Studies.  He is very knowledgeable of Coach Mesick’s playbook.

Quintin Smith- (Offensive line)- Currently teaches at Freedom.

Joshua Farrell- (Offensive line)- Played for Donohoe at Armwood and then coached with Donohoe at Strawberry Crest.

Daniel Gentilesco- (Assist with Running backs)- Played for Donohoe at Armwood and then coached at Strawberry Crest.

Steve Channels- (Special Teams)- Former football coach and teaches at Freedom.

Bill Kagey- (FCA Chapel and Special Teams)- Led FCA chapel for Freedom and helped out with Special Teams for Freedom this past season.

Michael Sneed- (Quarterbacks)- Teaches Social Studies at Freedom.

Interviewing Monday 2/27- Chris Alexander (Former football coach at Freedom under Marquel Blackwell) and Jose Bendana (Coached JV Defensive last season).

Donohoe anticipates interviewing approximately 5 – 10 additional volunteer assitants until fall starts.  Potential coaches include- Justin Hickman (Quarterbacks)- played for Donohoe at Armwood and then coached with Donohoe at Strawberry Crest,  Anthony Holmes (Defensive backs and track)- coached defensive backs at Strawberry Crest, Joshua Alston (Defensive Line)- played for Donohoe at Armwood and alos coached at Strawberry Crest.
