MOST TALENTED AREA OFFENSIVE SKILL UNITS

Before anyone gets all upset, this is June and we expect the post to create some good debate.

We went with “Most Talented,” not productive, all round or deepest. We tried to keep it as simple as possible starting with the passer.

  • QB has to be pretty good in our opinion. He has to have the ability to get the ball to his weapons on a consistent basis.
  • The running backs were key. We feel that a good running back enhances the ground game and will open up the pass.
  • We took into account the offensive scheme each team runs and the success their players traditionally have in that system.
  • Lastly, we said “IF the QB can get the ball to his weapons, which team has the talent on the perimeter to hurt a defense in many different ways?”
  • That’s the Theory. We don’t know if any of this will score points for teams in the fall. But we think the following teams have the talent to frustrate defenses.
