Recruiting Update: Information provided by high school coaches
Gibbs
Albert McCoy, DE/OT, 2012 – Starting to get some attention. University of Kansas has shown interest in him. Expect interest to increase up a lot, because he has been a force on defense this year.
Maurice Hall, ATH, 2014 – Since the BCP/SSP highlight tape Maurice Hall has been a person of interest for several schools. He has received questionnaire from Louisville, Virginia, West Virginia, South Florida, Florida, Miami, Florida State, Cincinnati, Georgia, Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, South Carolina, and North Carolina. He will be one of the top recruits in the Bay Area.
Gary Simon, ATH, 2012 – 20 plus offers. More offers will come as the season goes.
Recruiting will pick up for Devonte White, Devontay Williams, and Jeremy Williams. These guys are having a great season so far.
Under the radar: Matthew Williams, Chris Adams, Adrian Johnson, and Michael Roberson
Matthew Williams, LB/SS, 2012 – Has played big for Gibbs. He is 5’8” 160 lbs LB/SS. Against St. Pete this kid had 14 tackles, against Lennard he had 8 tackles with 1 INT. He has a 3.7 GPA he is a great D2/D3 prospect.
Chris Adams, LB, 2014 – He just has a nose for the ball. Plays LB and is a special team demon. This is a super sophomore.
Adrian Johnson, RB, 2013 – Replaced Stewart at running back. He has done a great job. He has rushed over 100 yards in each game since stepping in for Stewart.
Michael Roberson, DL, 2013 – This kid just causes disruption with his toughness and speed playing defensive line.
