Marquez Valdes, Lakewood 2013 WR took his talents to USF last weekend for the Super Bull Invitational and had another strong performance. At 6-3, he ran good routes showing confidence driving deep prior to making his breaks. Showcased a good vertical during 1-on1s and has strong hands to go up and grab the contested balls.
Valdes says he is no hurry to make a college decision and has no current favorites. West Virginia has come in to the fold and is the latest school to show heavy interest in Valdes.
Last season, Valdes was a key contributor for the Spartan offensive attack. Catching 29 balls for 732 yards and 7 touchdown receptions. Currently, Valdes is ranked as the #5 WR and #46 player overall in the BCP coverage area. He says that once he decides on his top schools, those schools will be the campuses he will make official visits to.
