Manatee Has not lost to a Manatee County team in over 3,300 days. The Hurricanes started off the season 2-2 with losses to Hoover (AL) and Tallahassee Lincoln. The only county team Manatee has played this season has been Palmetto is a triller which came to down the last minutes of the game. Manatee victorious 36-35 in that contest. Last week the Canes shutout Alonso 38-0 and this week they will travel to Steinbrenner for their second district contest. In their new 8A-6 schedule, Manatee will play a bunch of Hillsborough County Teams and will not play another Manatee County team until the last game of the season when Southeast comes across town.
