Malik John waited his time. Took advantage of his opportunities when Janarion Grant and David Emmanuel where not getting the ball.  This offseason, while Nate Craig was grabbing headlines for Pasco, Malik Johns was getting his own college recruiting attention.

Johns picked up offers from App State, North Dakota State, Samford, FAU and Presbyterian College.  Johns likes all the schools listed and has a very high interest in all. However would like to visit Appalachian State and UMASS.

A number of early commits have been made public in recent months. Malik does not anticipate making a choice till December. Wants to focus on the season, build more recruiting interest and take visits to schools in order to make an educated decision.
