Last season, Admiral Farragut arrived at the class 2A state finals in surprising fashion. No one expected the Blue Jackets to advance as they did, but so did they with heart, desire and “want to!” Behind the efforts of some stud athletes, Admiral Farragut plowed through the regular season before being defeated in the state championship game.

Injuries to Cortavious Givens and Reyshawn Jenkins left Todd Macon as the primary ball carrier. On his back, the team responded. Last season, Todd Macon, 2013 RB carried the ball130 times for 1042 yards and 10 TDs. He averaged 8.9 yards per carry and 116 yards per game. This season he has improved on those numbers and has led his team to a 5-0 record.

On the season, the 5-11/215 pound Macon has carried the ball 69 times for 670 yards and 4 TDs. He is averaging 9.71 yards per carry and 134 yards a game. Of his 5 games, he has rushed for 200+ yards in a game and three games for over 120 yards. Canterbury limited him to 56 yards and 1 TD.

He currently holds offers from Liberty and Ball State. He is a BCP Ignite Showcase participant and with his 2011 season and combine performance, Macon is the #6 ranked RB in Tampa Bay.
