I took advantage of the opportunity to visit Largo High School today to observe summer workouts. When I arrived the Packers were finishing up in the weight room. Excellent participation for 8:30am workouts; about 60 kids were present. It was a light day as Largo is starting to back down preparing for the first day of fall practice next week. The kids participated in a few agility stations before calling it a day. I briefly want to comment on a few kids:

Juwan Brown, QB, 2013
Very strong arm and seems to have recovered well from 2010 injury. Throws a very tight spiral and can make every pass. He is a lefty which is a plus! He is all of 6-2 and weighs in around 180 lbs. The team seemed to respond to him well as he took command of the involuntary post practice workout.

Lakeif Daniels, WR/S, 2012
Pleasant surprise here. Daniels catches the ball very well and has pretty good footwork. He gets in and out of breaks very well and has good size to him (6-2/180lbs).

Derrick Doss, ATH, 2013
Doss is rocked up. If you painted him green, he would be a lil baby Hulk (haha). Good looking kid. Showed good footwork and change of direction during agility drills.

Chris Skukalek, TE/DE, 2012
Big Boy! Runs crisp routes and catches the ball very well.

Raheem Harvey, WR, 2012
Good looking sophomore. Excellent frame and athleticism.
