The Lakewood Spartans are having a busy off season. Several underclassmen have received verbal scholarship offers and a few are receiving statewide attention. Shaquill and Shaquem Griffin may be the hottest right now. Over the past three weeks, the 6-0/195lb defensive backs have received 5 verbal scholarship offers between the two. Last week Shaquill received a verbal offer from Akron and today, Shaquem picked up the same offer. Both players are repeat BCP Ignite performers and will become even more popular throughout the spring.
