According to Lakewood head football, Cory Moore, their fall classic versus Miramar is no longer on the books.  Lakewood was scheduled to play the South Florida team at home (Lakewood) on August 23rd.  Unforeseen circumstances forced Miramar to pull out of the game and now the Spartans are looking for a fall classic.

If Lakewood does not get a Fall Classic, they will open up the season traveling to Countryside then get Palmetto, St. Pete, Gibbs and Largo at  home. A tough enough schedule without a practice game; all 5 teams have a legitimate shot at making the playoffs this season.
