Lake Wales has a rich history and known for a deep talent pool. Several talented senior players will continue their football career at the college level. Those seniors hand the team over to another skillful bunch of underclassmen. The big attraction will be ATH Josh Dunn. Dunn transferred to Lake Wales from Sarasota Riverview prior to the start of the 2014 football season.

2014 STATS
His first season as a Lake Wales Highlander was super productive: 2 interceptions, 10 sacks, 67 tackles, 10 TFL, 2 touchdowns. Not bad for a kid that was dropped in a pool of athletes. Versatility is the key to Dunn’s game.

POSITIONS PLAYED
At 6 foot, 205 pounds, Dunn is able to do plenty. He has played a variety of positions over his school career. The following positions, he played last season alone: Wide receiver, Defensive end, Outside linebacker, Strong safety, Corner, Halfback. Being able to play so many position made him super valuable to his team. He was very dependable and a coaches dream!

TOP 5 TO BE RECRUITED BY
Recruiting will swirl soon for Dunn. Stacks of college coaches will be attracted to his size and skill. FAU, FIU, Miami, NC state, Michigan St. are the top 5 schools Dunn hopes to be recruited by. As you can see, 3 of the 5 are in the state of Florida, all of those in South Florida and at different levels. He is also receiving attention from UCF, UF and Miami.

OFFERS
Currently Dunn tells us Tulane, Florida, Michigan State, South Florida, FAU and Kentucky have extended oral offers. This list will grow.

CAMP PLANS
This list may grow also as his popularity increases. Right now BCP E7 Training Camp (April) and Sound Mind and Body are on his short list of spring camps.
