BCP has learned that Jay Austin has been fired as the head football coach at Northeast High School. Jay Austin posted a 20-22 record during his time at Northeast, where he took over for his father Jerry Austin who is considered a legend in Pinellas County. Jay took over in 2007 and lead the Vikings to two district runner up titles.
