It is official, Mark Kantor is now the Hudson High School Football Head Coach

We jumped the gun in our earlier announcement in calling this hiring but now it is official, Coach Mark Kantor has been hired as the Hudson Head Football Coach.

Coach Kantor said  today, “I am ecstatic to be named Head Coach at Hudson High School. We are going to get the ship turned around. It is going to take some hard work and we are going to get it in the right direction.”

The former Gaither Head Football Coach from 2002-2010 led the Cowboys to the playoffs 3 times (2006-2008) including a District Championship in 2007 and an overall record of 42-53.

The Hudson High Cobras have lost 22 games in a row since late in the 2009 season. In 2010, a new high school in Hudson, FL opened called Fivay which took part of Hudson High School Zone.

In 2011, Coach Kantor was the Defensive Coordinator at Wharton High School.
