Freedom (4-1) at Sickles (3-1), Thur, 7:00pm, 6 Xecutives, Both teams undefeated in 7A-7 District with Wiregrass Ranch

Patriots: Sickles strength offensively is running the ball with Ray-Ray McCloud. Freedom will attempt to make Sickles beat them with the pass. Gryphons are posting under 100 yards a game through the air.

Gryphons: Lee Carabali has been a terror for opposing offenses. Sickles will need to do their best to keep Lee away from the ball. The Patriots LB is averaging nearly 8 tackles per game and plays bigger than his size.

Spoto (3-2) at Jesuit (3-2), Fri, 7:30pm, 5 Xecutives, could determine Champ, Runner-up in the 5A-9 District.

Spartans: It’s not a secret at all. Jesuits wants to pound the ground and run the ball at all cost. Spoto needs to slow down the Malik Davis, Kevin Newman two-headed monster; combined for 996 total rushing yards so far.

Tigers: “The first half rush!” Spoto is posting 21 points per game in the first half. Jesuit will need to defend the big play and slow down the “First half point” posting. Spoto will attempt to use their speed and athleticism to get behind the Tiger secondary.

Fort Meade (4-1) at Berkeley Prep (5-0), Thur, 7:00pm, 4 Xecutives, Both teams undefeated in 3A-4 District

Miners: Berkeley Prep has done a great job balancing the offense with the run and pass. A healthy rotation on the defensive line will be the biggest adjustment for the Miners versus the biggest offensive line they have seen this year.

Bucs: Fort Meade loads up the scoreboard in the second and third quarter. 13 points per game in each period. Berkeley Prep has played pretty well on defense and will need to force the Miners to beat them though the air and not get rolling on the ground.

Lake Gibson (4-0) at Winter Haven (4-1), Fri, 7:30pm, 6 Xecutives

Braves: Winter Haven has scored 33, 34 and 44 points the last 3 games and has allowed just 20 total points in the same range. Braves will need to be sound versus the Blue Devil run game. They will get a healthy dose of it on Friday.

Blue Devils: Thomas Boles has rushed for 582 yards in 4 games. 178 versus Jenkins and 180 versus Bartow. That’s the key! Winter Haven’s defense needs to key on Boles. Makes some other Brave beat them offensively.

Auburndale (4-0) at Osceola (Kissimmee) (4-1), Fri, 7:00pm, 5 Xecutives,

Bloodhounds: Osceola has limited opponents to 14 points per game. Lake Mary dropped 29 on them but 14 or less in the other 4 games. Auburndale has to penetrate and get in the backfield and stop the misdirection offense of the Kowboys.

Kowboys: Hounds have 3 running backs with 195 yards or more. Two backs with over 330 rush yards. Disruption in the backfield is one way to hurt a wing-t offense
