The second round of the FHSAA playoffs will start around 7:30 tonight. Plenty of big name prospects will be on display, along with many under recruited prospects with something to prove. Below is a list of under recruited prospects that will make big impacts tonight.
Terrence Jenkins, Plant 2013 LB – 44 solo tackles and 105 total tackles on the year. Instinctive football player in a 6-2 frame. Very physical and aggressive at the point of attack.
Devin Abraham, East Lake 2014 S – One of the most technical defensive backs in the area. Holds a few BCS offers currently, but is versatile enough to play corner or safety at the BCS college level.
Will Worth, Newsome 2013 QB/LB – BCP Player of the Year candidate has nearly 2000 total offensive yards and 90 total tackles on defense. Complete football player with a high football IQ.
Jamarlon Hamilton, Durant 2013 RB – 1,100 yard rusher for a second season in a row. Really good vision, yards after contact and tough between the tackles.
Kyle Gibson, Armwood 2014 S – Arguably the top 2014 safety in Florida and holds just a few BCS offers. Big hitter, vicious tackler and really good ball skills.
Brian Hammond, Hillsborough 2013 TE/DE – Hammond is a 6-5 steal for some college program. Runs really well, bends at the knees and is pretty athletic. Has the potential to grow into a really good college player.
Adrian Palmour, Lakewood 2013 TE – Very athletic 6-3 TE. Can catch the ball in traffic and blocks well on the edge.
Nahshon Simmons, Robinson 2013 DT – The big man was a dominant force vs. Plant in the final game of the season. Can hold his ground vs. the double team and changes direction pretty well.
David Emmanuel, Pasco 2013 RB – Almost 1,200 yards rushing for 2012, averaging nearly 11 yards per carry. Can run over, around and past defenders. Holds an offer from Rutgers, but should have plenty more.
Tre Watson, Tampa Catholic 2014 OLB – This young prospect has had a stellar season opposite of TJ Harrell. Fast and physical.
Tre Larry, Clearwater Central Catholic 2013 CB – Has made several game changing plays throughout his career. Long arms and athleticism make him a solid college prospect.
Vidal Woodruff, Carrollwood Day 2013 QB – Continued his success from Robinson in 2011, at CDS in 2012. Has thrown for 1,700 yards and an amazing 23 TDs.
