Wednesday night, the Lennard faithful packed in the gym at East Bay high for a highly anticipated boys basketball game between the home Indians and the Lennard Longhorns.

The visitors would depart a little disappointed as the Indians would hold off the Longhorns winning 64-56. East Bay dominated the rebounding column in the stats book. The Longhorns did not have enough length to compete with Indians on the glass. Behind a stud effort by senior F Anton Crutcher, who finished with 28 big points, the Indians kept competing.

Where the Longhorns lacked in size, they made up with hustle. Down 17 points at the half, Lennard scrapped their way back to tie the game in the 4th quarter. They created turnovers, contested every East Bay shot and clawed their way back into the game.
