ORLANDO – Four losses by a combined total of nine points in the playoffs can leave the most sour taste imaginable if you are Rodney Wells and his crew of Panthers. The hard luck ran out on Friday evening for Dr. Phillips and the good luck came rushing in as the Panthers recorded a 17-7 victory over Delray Beach Atlantic to claim their first state title in from of 5,900 frozen fans at Camping World Stadium. Atlantic was making their first title game appearance since 1978, while Dr. Phillips were in this same position last season before dropping a heartbreaker to Southridge.
