Highlighting some deserving fullbacks and offensive linemen

Area coaches highlight some Fullbacks and Offensive Linemen who have been performing very well this season.

James Helm, Plant 2013 FB (5-11/220). Watch this athletic play:

Gary Brown and Don Shepherd, Alonso OL
Zantavius Showers, Alonso FB

Luycchi Jansen, Leto 2013 Fb/TE – 3 yards per carry. Also punishing blocker and great hands.

Drew Paulsen, Jesuit 2014 TE
Drew has 13 pancakes in the last four games, his first 4 games as our starting TE. He is still learning the position, but he definitely knows how to finish blocks already! He is a huge reason our run game has exploded the past few weeks!

Cameron Ruff, OL and Robby Garcia, OL both have 10 plus pancakes on the year and continue to make plays as starters on both side of the line of scrimmage. They are true “Trench Warriors”!

George Peek, Berkeley Prep 2014 RB – 6-0/215lbs
Rob Paine, Berkeley Prep 2013 OT 6-2/260lbs

Ryan Yates, Countryside 2013 FB – 50 carries for 316 yards (6.3 average) 3 rushing touchdowns 3 receptions for 38 yards. Fullback for rushing attack that has rushed for over 1100 yards.

Jake Smith, Countryside 2013 OT – played every down this season for rushing attack that has rushed for over 1100 yards

Connor Dorris, Palm Harbor 2014 FB (6-2/215lbs)

Reid Reynoso, Largo OL/DL – our best lineman plays both ways.

Fred Russ, Tampa Bay Tech FB – Has been an absolute sledge hammer in the Titans power running game. Was the lead blocker for Richard Benjamin on his 263 yd rushing performance vs. Chamberlain

Dominique Parker, Tampa Bay Tech OT – 300 pounder has been nasty and accumulated several pancake blocks and has had his best games verses the toughest competition (Armwood and Plant)
