As the Tampa Bay Tech Titans gear up for the 2024 football season, all eyes are on the dynamic sophomore running back, Isaiah Daniel, who is ready to step into a more prominent role following the departure of two senior running backs. With his electrifying speed and agility, Daniel is poised to make a significant impact on the field and form a formidable duo with fellow sophomore running back, Andreas Zayas.

The 2023 season saw Tampa Bay Tech’s backfield led by senior running backs R. Gainey Jr. and J. Rosebury, who combined for an impressive 1,337 yards and 19 touchdowns. However, with their departure, the Titans are now looking towards their young talents to carry the torch.

Isaiah Daniel, a 5’08” and 165-pound speedster, showcased glimpses of his potential during the previous season, contributing 108 yards on just 14 carries. His impressive average of 7.7 yards per carry and a longest run of 53 yards demonstrated his explosiveness and big-play ability. Although he had limited opportunities, Daniel made the most of them, and his performance has generated excitement among the coaching staff and fans alike.

Teaming up with Andreas Zayas, who also exhibited promise in his sophomore year with 235 yards on 35 carries, averaging 6.7 yards per carry, the Titans are looking to establish a two-headed monster in the backfield. The combination of Daniel’s speed and Zayas’s power could prove to be a nightmare for opposing defenses.

As the young running backs prepare for the upcoming season, all eyes are on their progress, especially as they aim to fill the void left by Gainey and Rosebury. The Titans’ coaching staff is confident that the dynamic duo of Daniel and Zayas will be a force to be reckoned with in the Tampa Bay area.

To add to the anticipation surrounding Isaiah Daniel, it has been announced that he will be participating in the Big County Preps Scout Day on February 24th at Lakeland Christian School. This event, known for attracting top talent from the region, will provide Daniel with an opportunity to showcase his skills and gain valuable exposure among college scouts.

As the Titans embark on a new season with fresh faces in the backfield, all signs point to Isaiah Daniel as a player to watch. With his explosive running style and the potential for a breakout season, Daniel is ready to leave his mark on the Tampa Bay Tech football program and create a legacy of his own.
