The post:
Both teams are headed to the playoffs, but there’s some unfinished business for the Hawks as they are in pursuit of an undefeated season. The Gyphons are out to prove they’ve got one of the best defenses in Hillsborough County as well. USF commit Chris Oladokun leads a balanced offensive attack for the Gryphons completing 58-percent of his passes for nearly 1,400 yards and a 5:1 TD-INT ratio. T

Sickles wins IF:
They can keep Armwood from the splash plays they’re accustomed to making on offense and can limit the amount of disruptive plays the Hawks make on defense. Zero turnovers might be a tough order, but if Sickles can play mistake-free on offense, they’ve got the goods to upset the Hawks.

Armwood wins IF:
They keep things status quo. Since they’re close game with TBT, the Hawks have been a juggernaut and are starting to play vintage Armwood Football. That means limiting the amount of penalties, using their size and speed to smother opponents on the defensive side and using their bevy of weapons on offense to pull away from teams.

They said it best:
“We’re just getting ready for this week like any other game. Armwood has had a great defense for as long as I can remember. It’s pretty cool to think about the only two schools in Hillsborough County to get seven shutouts in a season duke it out. But it’s not just defense that makes a team. Much of our success is because our O is able to control the flow of the game and put together solid drives.” -Sickles OLB/DE, Cameron Miller
