The first half was all Pasco. As the sun went down, so did the Land O’ Lakes Gators. Pasco continued the winning streak over the Gators, making it six wins in a row for Pasco and head football coach, Tom McHugh.

Both teams traded punts on their first offensive possessions. However, the Gators continued to punt for the majority of the contest and the Pasco Pirates lived in the endzone. After the Pirates were forced to punt on the first possession, the offense and special teams scored on each possession that followed in the first half.

Pasco QB, JuJuan Henry, started the scoring frenzy for Pasco scoring from 7 yards out and jumping on Land O’ Lakes 7-0 following the made point after TD. Henry would control the first half rushing for 87 yards, passing for 35 yards and 1 rushing TD. Pasco would end the half up 35-0.

Land O’ Lakes was outmanned. It just did not seem fair. They could not get anything going offensively and did not find the endzone until their seventh possession of the night which came at the 4:58 mark in the 3rd quarter, Ethan Weilant 7 yard TD run. Making the score 35-7 Pasco.

Pasco held Land O’ Lakes to 42 yards rushing, 86 yards passing and 128 total offensive yards. 2013 defensive stud, Joey Ivie was a big part of the Pirate defensive wall. The University of Florida verbal commit, influenced every snap for Land O’ Lakes. If he was not knocking down the QB, he was sacking the QB. If he was not tackling the ball carrier in the backfield, he was blowing up the play in the backfield. Ivie was easily the most disruptive player on the field every snap. Finished the game with a ton of tackles, QB hurries, 1 PBU and 1 sack. Pasco would win 49-7.

It was the James McClinton, 2013 RB, coming out party tonight. Due to a broken wrist, Pasco ATH, Janarion Grant did not play. This allowed McClinton ample amount of opportunities to show his skill. He finished the game with 9 carries, 85 yards, 2 rushing TDs and 175 all-purpose yards. 2 punt returns for 45 yards and a big 40 yard kick off return.

The workhorse David Emmanuel quietly had a great game. 12 carries, 119 yards and 2 rushing TDs. Averaged nearly 10 yards per carry.

2014 ATH, Malik Johns did everything. Played all three sides of the ball. Made several tackles on defense and a few PBUs, 38 yards receiving, 1 receiving TD, 1 PR TD (70 yards) and 153 all purpose yards.

Pasco finished the game with 11 penalties for 90 yards. Land O’ Lakes had 9 penalties for 45 yards

Pasco will travel to Wiregrass Ranch next week. Land O’Lakes has a bye.
