Strawberry Crest jumped out to a 11-6 lead ending the first quarter. The fast paced, confident offensive play of the Chargers kept the Gryphons off balanced and on their heels. The Chargers exploded in the second period out scoring Sickles 20-6 headed into halftime leading 31-11.

Sickles struggled from the foul line all night. The Gryphons disappeared into the visitors locker room at half time 0/6 from the foul line and 4/20 for the night. Strawberry Crest was not much better, shooting 6/19 from the stripe for the night.

Sickles turned up the defensive pressure in the third period creating several turnovers and turning them into points. The Gryphons out scored the Chargers 14-12 in the third period, decreasing the gap at the end of the third quarter 43-26.

Sickles really locked down on defense in the last period, holding Strawberry Crest to just 7 points and scoring 15 themselves. At the end, Strawberry Crest held on making 5 crucial free throws to secure the win.

Malik Channer, Strawberry Crest led all scorers with 12 points and 7 rebounds. B. Nickles, Sickles was the top scorer for Sickles with 11 points, but was 1/8 from the foul line. Strawberry Crest will play Tampa Freedom in the Regional Semi Finals.
