Film Review: Miller, Nunn, Bryant, Myers

Bryce Miller, East Lake Pinellas slot 2017 5-9 170
If you like the type of player who just does their job. Nothing fancy about his game. Nothing over the top. Just a program player. The type of player who displays “Team.” Evaluating Bryce was pretty simple. He catches the ball in and out of traffic. Tough player who can take a hit and keep ticking. Miller is a threat when he catches the football. On any given play, he could get to the end zone. He catches in stride and has just enough elusiveness to avoid tackles.

Antonio Nunn, Jefferson Hillsborough WR 2016 5-11 180
Love the hands on Nunn. He shows great concentration, snatching the ball out the air with soft hands and great body control. Not often does he catch the ball with body. He was surprisingly a threat on special teams. On his film he had several effective returns showing his downfield speed. Runs sharp patterns, crisp routes. He is more of a possession receiver, can find the soft spots in a zone and create separation versus man to man coverage.

Nick Bryant, Pasco Pasco DE/TE 2016 6-4 235
Dade City must have outlet store where coaches can bid for 6-5 athletes. Some how Tom McHugh gets a bunch of them each year. Well, here goes another. Nick Bryant is interesting. Has what you can’t coach, SIZE! Versus the run, he will need to improve overall strength at point of attack. Does a really job good playing with his hands and not allowing offenders to get in his pads. Technique sound player.  Can rush the passer as a stand up OLB, more finesse. His body will be able hold much more weight.

Jayvaughn Myers, Pasco Pasco CB 2016 6-1 175
If this kid stays humble and hungry, his development will move at a tremendously fast rate. His hips are fantastic, very twitchy player and transitions well. Pretty good pedal and sensational acceleration. Love his awareness in zone coverage. A+ closing speed with the ability to transition (plant and drive). Excellent ball skills and takes the ball in the air.
