Few kids I thought looked pretty good at Robinson’s practice

Byron Pringle, WR/CB, 2012
Pringle is a 6-1/175lbs long striding, athletic ball catcher. I think he shows great body control and explosion out of his breaks. A few times at practice yesterday, Pringle ran a dig route, stopped on a dime after catching the ball, turned outside and was up the sideline in a flash. Now, Pringle had a coming out sophomore season, but found himself dismissed from the team in 2010. I was able to speak with him after practice and he seems like he is taking advantage of his second opportunity as part of the Knights football program. I could not gage his straight ahead speed, but he performed well at the BCP 2011 Ignite Combine and looked even better in pads yesterday.

Ethan Kindle, WR/S, 2012
Michael Duclos, Robinson, 2015, RBKindle is one of those kids who probably won’t get much press this year. From the outside looking in, he seems like a player who just does his job and does pitch a fuss about balls thrown his way or time on defense. On the other side of the coin, his coaches rave about his ball catching ability. He’s s not a burner, but a good possession receiver that will get the Knights tough yards. I did not see him catch many balls yesterday, but I did see a few pretty good grabs during one on ones with the defensive backs. Kindle looks like he will be the weak side receiver, which can be good for Robinson. If he can get some single coverage every now and then, he will put up some goof numbers.

Michael Duclos, RB/LB, 2015
It’s hard for me to give a 2015 kid any love. At this point he hasn’t played a meaningful down yet. But, the younger brother of Carlos Duclos will more than likely, be a load this year. Now, I don’t see him lighting the prep football world on fire this season, but I can see him as like a 600-800 yard plus running back. Low center of gravity, strong legs and runs behind his pads. A close eye will kept on him during this season. Robinson is known for having pretty good freshman RBs. If I’m not wrong, both Doster brothers started as true freshmen at Robinson.
