Fab 5 – 28 points per game and 33 steals

This week we take a look at 5 area players who have been producing in a big way for their team.

Jalen Williams, Plant

Jalen Williams, Plant 2015 PG – Has 33 steals this season. Creating scoring opportunities for his team, is what a point guard should do. William’s has been doing it on both sides of the ball. In addition to his 33 steals, he has 42 assist this year; 4 games with 7 assist or more and 4 games with 4 steals of more.

Caelen Watts, Lennard 2014 SG – Caelen is averaging 18 points per game for the Longhorns. The leading scorer and primary ball handler is consistently putting points on the board for his team. Lennard is 8-1 overall currently, but their star has been good. He has scored 24, 19 and 14 the last three games with 126 total points on the season.

Keshawn Ingram, Steinbrenner 2014 SG – Talk about putting the ball in the hole…Ingram is doing it better than any player in the area. The long, lean shooting guard is averaging an amazing 28 points per game this season. Ingram dropped 44 points vs Wharton, 39 points vs Gaither and 32 points vs Plant! Anybody gonna guard him this season? Hard to believe. Lowest point total was 18 versus Alonso.

Justin Gray, Berkeley Prep 2014 SF – We know Gray can score. Has scored over 14 points every game this season for the undefeated Bucs. However, he has also been getting it done on the glass. Gray is averaging 7.8 rebounds per game; 15 offensive rebounds, 32 on the defensive glass.

Malik Hall, Academy of the Lakes 2014 PG – Averaging 17 points per game, the showman that he is, makes his teammates better around him. Hall has been pretty good this season. Along with the points, he has 27 assist this season. After 7 games, he is averaging 4.5 dimes a game.
