Jeff Smith is rising up the recruiting boards in many college football war rooms. This season, as a first year starting QB, Smith produced 1366 passing yards on 93 of 169 attempts, 7 TDs, 82 rushes for 611 yards with 7 TDs (1,977 all-purpose yds). Was not named the starting QB until mid season.

The Clearwater Central Catholic 2015 QB recorded some great numbers at last weekend’s Ignite Elite Showcase: Clocked a smooth 4.53 forty yard dash, 7.25 3 cone, 4.43 short shuttle, 19.05 med ball press and 8.11 broad jump. He showed quickness, speed and good upper body strength. His overall Ignite performance earned him a spot on The BHSN/BCP Executive Invite Only Showcase roster.

Smith is athletic enough to excel at several different positions. Is currently being recruited hard by Northwestern and hopes to be recruited by, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Mississippi State, Texas.
