OPEN TO 9TH-12TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL PLAYERS
Big County Preps and Bay Area Hoops talent evaluators will be observing and coaching throughout the event in an effort to seek out talented prospects that can be promoted to collegiate basketball programs.
Work and basketball IQ is the focus of Pick & Pop Training Camp. Basketball fans love to say that there things that cannot be measured using statistics. Basketball I.Q. is one of the attributes that does not show up in the stat book.
It may not directly add points to the board; it does affect the game and helps teams win. The top basketball players tend to possess a high basketball I.Q. Basketball I.Q. is a combination of instincts and the ability to adapt to any situation. That is what Pick & Pop will help develop. Understanding real basketball situations and how to successfully counter each.
Pick & Pop will have a heavy focus on individual position skill drills, small group, and team play. The goals of Pick & Pop are to develop individual basketball skills, confidence, and overall understanding of the game.
The training will allows players to work on their skill development in an intense and forward thinking atmosphere in addition to developing individual skills within a team environment.
WHAT TO BRING
Bring your own ball (labeled). All athletes bring sweats, shirts, socks, gym shorts, sneakers, hydration and gym bag.
Spending money for snacks, drinks and BCP merchandise at our Camp Store.
REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS:
A minimum $15 cancellation fee will be charged cancellations (regardless of reason).
Cancellations and refund requests must be received by the camp, via email (info@bigcountypreps.com), at least 3 full business days prior event. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FOR LATE CANCELLATIONS. Refund requests, if approved, will be processed after the event has ended.
