Panthers coach Robert Weiner has produced a handful of state-championship quarterbacks during his tenure. Former Miami and Purdue signal-caller Robert Marve led the Panthers to a state title in 2006, current Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray guided them to a title in 2008 and current Alabama backup Phillip Ely quarterbacked them to the championship in 2009. Meanwhile, this year’s QB, senior James Few, led the Panthers to another state crown in his only season as a starter.
