Early version: Top 11 uncommitted 2013 prospects

There are still plenty of 2013 prospects available who have yet to make a verbal commitment to a university. Below are a few who we think are at the top of the list.

1 Leon McQuay, Armwood S
Ball Hawk and playmaker. 4 interceptions on the year. Plays his best football in big games. McQuay could be an early January decision or could come down to the wire. Oregon, Vanderbilt, USC, FSU and Michigan are the top choices.

#10 (white) Juwan Brown, Largo 2013 QB

2 Juwan Brown, Largo QB
There is almost nothing he can’t do. 6-2, silky smooth, lefty with a very high ceiling. Completed 73% of his 122 passes for nearly 1500 yards, 19 TDs and ZERO interceptions.

3 Auggie Sanchez, Northeast LB
Picture perfect definition of a LB. 66 solo tackles. A single man wrecking crew and leadership qualities for the foundation of a defense. Rugged, tough, throwback player.

4 Nigel Harris, Hillsborough LB
Pure football player with skill player speed. Leads his team in rushing yards, 650 yards on 77 carries and total tackles (98). Top schools: Pitt, South Florida, Wake Forest

5 Mike Love, Countryside DE
Extremely aggressive with a great get off. Long arms and the ability to take over a game. 8 sacks this year with 26 solo tackles as teams tended to shy away from his side.

6 Rodney Adams, Lakewood WR
Another great season for the senior Spartan. Has thrown passes, caught passes and orchestrated brilliant plays. UCF, Houston, WVA, WKU and Cincinnati are the schools of interest.

7 Richard Benjamin, Tampa Bay Tech. ATH
Has been the pure definition of an athlete his senior season. Has played QB, RB, WR, CB, S and KR this season and will be counted on for his team to advance in the playoffs.

8 Janarion Grant, Pasco ATH
Missed the first half of the season with a wrist injury. Amassed 528 total offensive yards in four games the last half of the season and 11 total offensive TDs. Elusive and explosive!

9 Wesley Bullock, Plant RB
This should probably be the last time we reference his stature, because at this point, it really does not matter. On the verge of another 1,000 yard rushing season and is heart of the Plant football team. Penn State and Toledo are the schools of interest currently.

10 Karel Hamilton, Strawberry Crest WR
Busted on to the scene and nearly reached 1,000 yards receiving for the young Strawberry Crest football program. Holds an offer from Samford. Reminds me a lot of Austin Aikens at Western Kentucky, ex-Plant WR.

11 Darryl Richardson, Armwood QB
As a TE, Richardson is a big pick up. Showed flashes of his receiving ability vs. Plant late in the season where he made some very acrobatic receptions.
