Currently, Allen holds offers from Bowling Green, Colorado State, Indiana, South Alabama and the hometown USF Bulls. Interestingly enough, Panthers alumnus Bobby Richardson attended Indiana and has since gone to the league, but there isn’t a single school on that list–and others that will inevitably offer as well–that wouldn’t welcome him with open arms.

Allen was an integral part of the Panthers’ success last season while in pads and has also helped win his squad a title at BCP’s Bull in the Ring last week. We now take a quick look at what got Allen to the top of the mountain at E7TC as the linebackers MVP.

WHAT WAS SAID:
“LB – Thomas Allen (Plant) – Class of 2017
Allen was super-productive for the Panthers in 2015 with 62 tackles–with an impressive 27 of those coming for loss. Allen’s quickness plus strength was on display in the linebackers grouping on Sunday in Lakeland and will be integral part in the Panthers’ plans to get back to the state finals on the defensive side of things. “It’s always fun to come out and compete with guys you know.” Allen said following the event.”

WHAT THE ‘EYE IN THE SKY’ SAID:
Simply put, Allen’s pass coverage skills were superb. There weren’t enough superlatives to describe his ability to turn and move with great body control and finish the deal at the point of attack once the ball arrived.

THE IMPACT:
The impact of Allen’s development to a higher-level is obvious. It simply makes Plant’s Defense THAT much better and with Allen possessing all of the leadership qualities you’d want from an inside linebacker, there isn’t any doubt in our minds that he will meet those 2015 numbers and most-likely blow right past them–which, should bode well for the Panthers in their quest to get to Daytona.
