The game has not changed, but it has evolved. The need for a mobile QB is on the top of every teams list. The guy who can change the game and make a play with his legs, as well as his arm. The Dual Threat QB is one of, if not the best athlete on the team. He can throw just about every ball and can slice the defense with his running ability. He makes the defense has to respect his talent and defend both the pass and the run.
As hard as this was, we ranked the Top 10 DUAL THREAT QBs in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco County (Disclaimer: we have not even touched the surface of Pasco County talent). These rankings will be evaluated again in the summer as opinions change and other players surface. The rankings are based on skill, talent, basically…who we think will be the best dual threat QBs of the 2012 season. Our evaluations are based on film review, Ignite Showcase performance, combines and practice observations.
