Donohoe Resigns at Strawberry Crest

Todd Donohoe

Dover, FL – As much reward that comes with coaching a team and watching those boys and girls become young men or women, come the time away from the Home Team. Tuesday afternoon, Todd Donohoe stepped down as the Strawberry Crest Charger head football coach. Donohoe says the time away from home killed him. “As much as I love being around my team, I need to spend more time at home with my family”, says Donohoe. Donohoe was the schools first football coach as they started playing in 2009 and posted a 6-10 overall varsity record as the Chargers head coach. Part of the Armwood/Callahan coaching tree, Donohoe had the Chargers ready to compete in 2011.

The void left by Donohoe makes the eighth football coaching opening this off season in Hillsborough County. Strawberry Crest will start the search for a new head football coach immediately.
