2015 Outlook:
It doesn’t get any tougher in the entire region than this district along with the 7A-10 in Pinellas. This collection of squads will likely beat up on each other pretty good and the “survivor” will be as battle-tested as they come. Each team can boast its own list of talent along with the ability to make opponents pay dearly if they haven’t brought their hardhats and lunch pails with the brand of physicality these teams can play. Dropping down from Class 8A are the Bloomingdale Bulls, who were on the doorstep of upsetting Dr. Phillips last season and return some talent to try and make things happen again this season. Lennard is coming off a season in which NOBODY saw coming based on their two previous seasons leading up so could another 7-3 (or perhaps even better) performance be on the way? The Titans of Tampa bay Tech were regional finalists last season and no Deion Cain-no problem as Dacquon Green, the recent University of Florida WR commit for 2017 steps in for TBT. Strawberry Crest is the youngest team in the district, but don’t let that fool you. This team has some of the best young talent in the entire city.
