At the end of the night, after 2 quarters of play, East Bay walked of the field at Plant City as the 7A-8 district champs. The Indians defeated Strawberry Crest 7-0 and then defeated Plant City by the same score.

Indian running back, Chris Greene carried a defender 5 yards to score the winning TD from 18 yards out vs. Strawberry Crest. QB, Chris Carpentier threw a perfect pass to hit his receiver in stride and in the corner of the end zone to complete a 95 yard drive and beat Plant City. Plant City would defeat Strawberry Crest 6-0 to capture the district runner up spot.

East Bay will host Gaither in round 1 of the FHSAA playoffs and Plant City will travel to Sickles. Check out all the action from the Monday Night tie breaker at the video below.
