2015 Outlook:
One of the toughest districts in the region in 2015, the two berths for the postseason could come down to another tiebreaker such as the one last season between Sunlake, Mitchell and Springstead in which the Seahawks came out as champs and the Mustangs finished as runners-up. Add Pasco to the mix moving up from Class 5A last season and their weapons and things could be absolutely chaotic come seasons’ end. If you want offense, there’s plenty of that at Pasco and Mitchell and if smash-mouth defense and play in the trenches then you can find that at Sunlake and Springstead. Don’t count out the Gators, either. They can turn this into a nightmare for prognosticators if they can knock off any of the big dogs unexpectedly along the way. Buckle up for 2015 if you’re a fan of these squads.
