Championship Eval: Skai Moore, University School 2013 LB vs Madison County 2 0

University School (12-0) defeated Madison County (12-2) 24-17 this past weekend for the class 3A FHSAA state football title. At the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla, in front of a crowd of 2193, University came back from a 17 point deficit led by 4 star ILB prospects Skai Moore.

Entering the game, the 6-3 LB prospect recorded 48 solo tackles and 5 sacks. His production did not let up on the biggest stage, under the brightest lights. Moore dominated the game, pulling his defense together to shutout the run oriented Madison County offense in the second half.

9 solo tackles, 5 assisted, 14 total tackles and 1 sack is how Moore went out his senior year. A huge game, a championship trophy, where he was the best player on the field. Moore was all over the place. Shed blockers, stuffed ball carriers and harassed just about every Madison County offensive player. He uses his hands extremely well and hustles every play. He is a sideline to sideline backer, physical and tough between the tackles.
