Cambridge: Numbers don’t lie

Under head coach Bob Dare, Cambridge Christian tied CCS best record for second straight year at 6-4. The Lancers don’t lose much as they only had 3 seniors and 6 juniors. Starting QB missed 4 games with broken collarbone and had to replace #1 WR, #1 QB, #1 RB, 3 of 5 O-line and D-line from 2011 season.  The Lancers defeated state ranked, defending 2011 District Champion and State Runner Up Admiral Farragut team 68-45.

Robbie Robertson WR/DB/P SR.
Robbie led 2A in receptions for the past two seasons. #1 in 2A for Total Yards from scrimmage by WR. This year he compiled his statistics despite being without his starting QB for 4 out of 10 games and playing running back during that time. On the field at all times.

Defensive – 72 tck, 8 TFL, 3 CF, 4 INT, 1 DEF TD

Brandon Park RB/LB SR.
Brandon Park is an all around playmaker. Park never left the field and had an impact on almost every play.

Rushing – 146 car, 665 yds, 10 TD’s
Receiving – 26 rec, 389 yds, 7TD’s
Defensive – 49 tackles, 6 TFL, 2 FFum

Garrett Young QB SO
Garrett missed the first 4 games of the season with a broken collarbone and still finished 8th in 2A in yards and 7th in 2A in Passing TD’s. Garrett set a school record against Admiral Farragut passing for 408 Yds and 7TD’s.

Lloyd Woods OL/LB JR
Lloyd anchored the defense and led the team in tackles for the 2nd year in a row.

Tackles – 116, 6 TFLs

Trent Puleo LB/TE FR
Trent started as a Freshman and finished #8 in 2A in tackles and #1 in 2A in tackles for a freshman.
