Buster Davis’ stint as Admiral Farragut head football coach was short lived.
Davis, a former FSU linebacker, was hired in early February to take over the program, but resigned on Thursday, Athletic Director Matt Thompson said.
“We have accepted the resignation of Coach Davis,” Thompson said in a school press release. “ We thank him for his contributions he made to our football team during spring practice, and wish him well in his future endeavors.
