Bloomingdale: For the Record

For the record…

Bloomingdale has never started 3-0 but they have won three in a row three times once in 1990 and twice in 2008.

In 2008 Bloomingdale turned in a 6-5 season and was District Runner-up. Consecutive wins for the Bulls came against Spoto, King and Plant City. After a 17-14 loss vs. Sickles the Bulls won three more consecutive games against Leto, East Bay and Brandon.

Bloomingdale is 4-13 all-time against East Bay.

The Bulls have had the better of the Cheifs as of late winning two of the last three games including that 28-7 win in 2008.

The Bulls are 4-18 under HC John Booth after starting this year 2-0. It will be the home opener for Bloomingdale after beating Chamberlin (25-20) and Strawberry Crest (40-6) on the road.

The Bulls have relied heavily on the ground attack, led by Junior Eugene Baker who has over 250 yards and three TDs this season. Bulls’ QB Cody Crouse has added 135 yards through the air with two TDs.
