The Bright House Sports Network 9 Route 7 on 7 Tournament is a non padded event which is putting players back on fields in June and July rather than August. High school coaches gain the advantage of practice and observing their players in a competitive environment. 9 Route is a 3 day event, where seeding games will be played on Friday, playoffs on Saturday and the Championship game on Sunday. Bright House will be televising the Championship Game and the post activities. Media and national recruiting services will be invited to observe the level of play and discover some hidden talent. What they’ll see is a fast-paced game that enhances offensive skills by forcing the quarterback to throw on each play. Only forward passes are permitted. There is no rushing, tackling or timeouts, unless there’s an injury. 9 Route provides coaches and players an opportunity to increase their skills and confidence to help compete at their highest level.
