Home field not an advantage in Week 1 for Tampa Bay football teams
Forty games were played in the 1st week of the regular season which involved the 72 High School Football Teams in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas that BCP covers and only 13 teams won on their home field.

This means that 27 visiting teams won which resulted in a home winning percentage of just 32.5% for Week 1.
We will keep an eye on the home winning percentage throughout the season to see if it will make a difference by year’s end.
