Under Armour All-Americans Compete In Events to Test Skills, Speed, Agility and Strength
ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 2, 2018) – Team Spotlight earned the American Family Insurance Skills Challenge title over Team Highlight by winning five of six competitions and tying in another. The event at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports complex featured 22 of the nation’s top high school football players and will air tonight (Tuesday) at 11 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
Three of the events were obstacle related challenges that tested speed, agility and strength. The kickers had one minute to kick seven field goals from increasing distances to earn a point. The quarterbacks had six chances to hit moving targets and a seventh ball to test their arm on distance. The American Family Insurance Skills Challenge competition individual results are as follows:
