One player that will be a huge impact on both sides of the ball for Newsome is 2013 DL/OL Bentley Easley. Prior to the rematch win over Durant in the second round, Easley stated, “Confident we were more than ready to go face Durant since it didn’t go our way the first time”. Easley also feels that the team attitude is HUNGRY, “After that lost [regular season loss] we realized our season could have been over if we lost one more district game. So after the Durant game, the first time we played them, we kept rollin and haven’t lost since”.

Easley does not have any impressive stats. He is primarily an offensive lineman that unslefishly throws his body in harms way for teammates like John Hendricks, Clint Carnell and Will Worth. Those players, especially Worth have been a big impact on Easley’s career. “My boy Will Worth, he’s had an impact on the whole entire Newsome team as well as hillsborough county alone. As far as coaches, our head coach, Coach Hiscock puts the desire in our heart. We have that inner demon as he would say. He brings out the killer mentality in the team”.

Bentley and the boys will have their hands full but feel confident they will return to Fishhawk victorious.

RECRUITING
Most impressive college team this year?
Easley: I would say Notre Dame. They started 24 now they’re #1 and they have the meanest Defense and the #1 Defensive player in the nation Manti Te’o. Other teams really didn’t impress me only my favorite which impress me every year THE “U”

Visits?
Easley: I plan on going back to FIU, then going to visit FAU, TCU, UNC, and FAMU.
