Tight ends are starting to become a “Wanted” position again. College coaches are actively recruiting tight ends with the ability to play in several offensive schemes. The traditional TE is still relevant. However, players who can play TE, FB and Slot are becoming more and more attractive.
Tyree Graves, Pinellas Park 2013 TE is one of those players who are becoming more and more attractive to college coaches. He can do just about anything regarding football. The 6-2/230lbs prospect skyrocketed in the BCP rankings because of his ability and talent. “To me I think my play speaks for me. I think I did enough to be ranked. I can run, I can catch and help our team win games when it counts,” said Graves.
With the departure of senior playmakers, Pinellas Park will need to find new players to become clutch in key movements. Graves is excited about his 2012 team, “I think we will have a good team this year. We have 22 seniors and most of them are starters.”
Can Pinellas Park have a solid regular season and advance further in the playoffs this year? Time will tell. But we can tell you, Tyree Graves is one of the best at his position.
