How the BCP area fared:

QB Chris Oladokun – Alonso
Threw some of the best balls out of the entire QB group; especially during the worst weather of the day. Chris threw his wide receivers to their spot, never hesitated to throw into traffic during 7-on-7’s and forced the coaches to make a VERY tough decision during the evaluation process. Would not surprise any of us if Oladokun eventually receives an invite if he keeps this momentum into the summer.

QB Garrison Bryant – Clearwater
Had a very similar performance to Oladokun’s. Bryant was in-tune with his receivers and appeared extremely comfortable throwing at arguably the camp’s best sub-group of DB’s in the rotation opposite his WR’s. Bryant also showed a marked improvement with his footwork during today’s session.

QB Isaiah McIntyre – Bloomingdale
Showcased pinpoint accuracy to his WR’s during 1-on-1’s and an arm cannon to match that accuracy. Showed poise and displayed great placement on throwing the deep ball even during a rain squall that was giving some QB’s absolute fits.

QB Rex Culpepper – Plant
One of the strongest arms in the entire camp and good footwork to boot, there wasn’t a single speed demon that was complaining about the room-to-run under one of Culpepper’s passes on the deep ball.

WR Kee Whetzel -Countryside
Once he settled in for the grind and adjusted his routes accordingly, Whetzel’s performance in 1-on-1’s was no different than what we’ve seen from the emerging stud; which is someone that can use his frame to shield DB’s and go get the ball at it’s highest point. All-in-all it was excellent day for the Countryside Cougar.

WR Cordell Pimienta – Armwood
Looks like the Hawks have a good one on their hands. Super comfortable and smooth in his route-running and his footwork and hands that refused to drop any footballs thrown his direction.

WR Antoine Thompson – Plant City
This young man looked very comfortable and displayed great body control along with really soft hands that seemingly trap the football and refuse to let it go.

RB Theo Anderson – Indian Rocks Christian
Everyone’s favorite safety-valve during 7-on-7’s and was showcasing his hands that will make him a 5-tool prospect out of the backfield at the next level.

DB KJ Sails – East Bay
Showed why he’s one of our favorites and why he’s a priority for countless colleges at the next level. KJ was either locking down WR’s with his physicality at the line and on the off-chance someone DID get by him, Sails was already recovered and making the play on the ball by the time it arrived.

DB Marchalo Judge – Tampa Bay Tech
Was locked up with one of the fastest WR’s on the field in Viera’s Tre Nixon, but in true “Judge” jury-and-executioner fashion, Marchelo never shied from the challenge and won battles he lost early in the day showing why it’s just as much about the size of the fight as it is the size of the dog.

TE Chris Barrett – Countryside
Showed flashes of why him and Whetzel should grow into one of Pinellas County’s best receiving
combo’s in a while and that his frame (when used correctly) is virtually indefensible at the moment. Barrett’s ability to locate the ball and make the catch was also one of the highlights of his entire group.

TE Jacob Mathis – Berkeley Prep
Mathis gave us one of his most consistent performances at these events we’ve seen from him. The Berkeley Prep TE was not trying to do “too much” and was simply taking what the DB’s gave him. Nothing flashy, but the PRECISE kind of performance you’d want to see from him as the spring and summer start to play out.

RB Devan Barrett – Tampa Catholic
Thought he had a fantastic day. Showed his speed and elusiveness during several showcase drills versus the linebackers. Caught the ball well in 1 on1s even with wet, heavy footballs and bad turf.

RB Artavis Pierce – Auburnadale
We really felt Mr. Pierce opened eyes today. Looked the part with his frame and had a fantastic day when competing against the line backers. Most impressive was his footwork in open field tackling drills.

WR Trey Fullwood – Sickles
This young man improves each camp. Really starting to gain momentum heading into a crucial part of his recruiting process. Leadership qualities really standout more than any thing else. There is something about this young man that grabs evaluator attention more than just his physical ability. He has that “It Factor” that will cause his team to follow his lead especially if leads the right way. Had one of the best days of all the receivers.

WR Dequon Green – Tampa Bay Tech
Steady. The best word to describe his day would be “Steady.” Caught the ball well and ran crisp routes. Had a tough day with his footing just like 99% of the athletes because of the weather.

WR Dakarai Allen – Largo
Allen showed resilience after dropping a few early balls. His best moments came in 7 on 7; ran crisp routes, felt the zone coverage and adjusted his route accordingly.

DT Keyshon Camp – Lake Gibson
Won the majority of his 1 on 1 match ups. The first 30 mins of the session, Camp went 4/6 versus his opponents showing speed and active hands. Wish we had video of this Preeeeeeetty spin move he used. Excited many of the spectators.

DL Jordan Scott – Pinellas Park
This environment was the best thing for this Patriot. He is a 0 tech, powerful pusher in the Patriots defense. Asked to knock the center on his butt and push the offensive line back on their heels. At this camp, he was not permitted to use his bull rush forcing him to use other moves he was not accustomed to. Yes, this was a good thing because he realized his weakness and really worked to use alternative moves to get to the QB. This will help him in the long run.

OL Sean Behrens – Newsome
Did well. Lined up versus some of the top competition in the camp and held his own. Played with good pad level and great extension.

DE Kwanzi Jackson – Manatee
May have been Kwanzi’s best showing yet. Including all the BCP camps he has appeared at this season and last. He had a different look in his eyes this time and gained confidence as the day progressed. Won 5/8 1 on1 battled I observed.

OT Brandon Walton – Seminole
Some one is going to get a good player in this young man. He looked much more confortable at this event versus Ignite in January, to be expected. Won his first two 1 on 1 match ups. Strong and physical kid.

Baveon Johnson, MVP
Baveon Johnson, MVP

OL Baveon Johnson – Lake Gibson
Almost undefeated in 1 on 1s. Not a surprise for a BCP multiple OL MVP and Xecutive two-time invitee. The dude is just good. I could list everything he did right today. But that would be another feature article. He proved us right again. This time versus the best the region has to offer.

OL Michael Wiggs – Lake Gibson
Another good performance for the improving Lake Gibson Brave. After starting the day 1/1 in 1 on1s, Wiggs got rolling and won several battles in a row. Love his footwork and set up. Arguably the best techniques and mechanics of any offensive tackle participant today.

LB Decalon Brooks – Gaither
Several pass breakups, an interception and a few sacks during pass rush drills, Brooks performed as expected. It’s starting to be the norm. Just like at Ignite in January, his footwork and body control is improving with each rep. Fantastic day for the sophomore Cowboy.

LB AJ Deshazor – Lake Gibson
The event staff was very impressed with Deshazor. Easy to tell why. His speed was a cut above the rest. Was solid is pass rush and open field tackling drills. Had a really good day defending in 7 on 7. Zone drops were on point.

S Craig Watts – Gibbs
One of the top safeties in the camp. Transitioned well and played the ball great in the air.

DB CJ Cotman – Clearwater Central Catholic
Participated on the defensive side of the ball today and made a few nice deep ball plays during 7 on 7.
