As the summer heats up, so does the work load for many players. For Bartow junior Dimitri Leverett, the challenge is to gain leadership as he steps into the quarterback role for the Yellow Jackets.
Leverett still finds himself more comfortable in the running back and safety position, but is dedicated to become more fluid in his moves.
“So far the footwork has come pretty natural,” said Leverett. “And the path of my new journey is very exciting for me.”
And in a day of skill work at the Big County Preps E7 Camp, Leverette plans to take the knowledge gained back to the Yellow Jackets to improve as a team on their previous season.
