Not all players will emerge into college prospects. Matter of fact, only a small percentage do. Over the course of the 2012 calendar year, we have kept a close eye on Boca Ciega LB, Amari Mount.
Mount, played the majority of the 2011 season as a defensive lineman making several disruptive plays and showing a true love for the game. In our estimation, he has developed into a college prospect and has a legit chance to play collegiate football.

Even though the recruiting process has not been as aggressive as he would like, Mount says he is enjoying it. Right now, Norfolk St., UCF, BCU, FAU, Western Kentucky and USF and showing the heaviest interest. And of those schools, “I have a dream school. It would have to be USF”, said Amari.

On the season, Mount has accounted for 67 tackles, 5 sacks and 14 tackles for loss. “The way I play, my style of play, and how HUMBLE I am,” makes Mount a solid prospect.

Whatever comes Amari’s way, he will be appreciative. However, he wants to commit to a school and in his own words “Go put on for Moms”.
